The Best Spider-Man Iron Man X-Men And Other Movies

A man wearing a costume

As a kid growing up I read comics, from comic books, as well as fantasy novels. In particular, I adored reading stories where super heroes took on the evil villains for which they were formed. So it was only natural that as I grew into an adult I wanted to try out some of these classic superhero movies. Needless to say, that’s when I fell in love with Iron Man, Spider Man, and Fantastic Four.

Of course, before anything else, I did need to get a handle on the comics so I didn’t go into any unnecessary comic book fan fiction territory, which can be a bit annoying when you’re trying to learn something new. So what did I read? Well, the first three that I mentioned above are all fantastic choices. They each take you into the world of superheroes where there are absolutely amazing superhero movies.

Man On The Moon

A person wearing a costume

“Man on the Moon” – The first of this trilogy features the amazing photography of linesman, lensman, and lee. What made this movie even more incredible was that there was a stellar cast that also included Bill Murray. The entire movie is about a spaceman that crash-lands on earth (that’s him in the first scene).

He then sets up a robot army and goes on a mission to find a girl who has been stranded on earth. The plot involved using his newly-bought robotic army to help people.

The Dark Knight Rises

“The Dark Knight Rises” – This is quite possibly my favorite superhero film of all time. It stars Tom Hardy, Cate Blanchett, and Anne Hathaway. The movie’s main plot involves an ambitious and psychotic billionaire whose daughter is killed during a mugging. It’s really hard to describe this film because it’s just so damn fantastic.

Thor

“Thor” – This is another fantastic superhero film from Marvel Comics that stars Russell Crowe. This film helped make Crowe a star and created a whole new audience for comic book movies.

This film was so well written and directed that it created a sort of holy trinity of directors for comic book films: Kenneth Branagh, Alan Rickman, and directed by Kenneth Branagh.

Spider-Man 3

“Spider-Man 3” – I don’t think this is actually considered a superhero movie, but I’ll give it props for trying. It stars Tobey Maguire, who is perhaps most known for his roles in movies like Spider-Man and Home Alone.

This film was directed by Sam Raimi, who also made two of the previous Spider-Man films. It’s a fantastic and thrilling superhero action film that you should definitely check out. Check out my review of it here.

X-Men

“X-Men: First Class” – This is my favorite amongst the x-men series of films. It stars Patrick Stewart, who played the younger Professor X in the first three x-men films. This one stars Michael Douglas, whose career has spanned parts of three decades now. He’s simply great in this film. You can’t go wrong with this one.

These are some of the best superhero films that have ever been made. These films have influenced the modern superhero film industry more than any other films. They’re entertaining. They are a great introduction to the superhero genre, if you’ve never watched superhero films before, or if you’re a diehard fan of the genre. I highly recommend all of these films, both old and new!

The Search For Professor X

“X-Men: The Search For Professor X” – One of the most recent X-Men films, “The Search for Professor X” stars Patrick Stewart as the young Charles Xavier, who is placed in the role after Wolverine left the team. He’s a changed man, driven to search for his father, who may still be alive. What makes this film so great is that it deals with a very important topic in the comic book world… family. In this film, we get to see the inner workings of a superhero. This is a very psychological film that deals with family, love, loss…

“X-Men: The Last Stand” – As the X-Men have grown in popularity over the last few years, there’s been a lot of spinoffs and sequels released. One of these, “The Last Stand,” is the very first standalone X-Men film in over a decade. The film itself is very intense and is worth the time spent in between future X-Men films. It’s definitely worth the trip if you ever get the chance to watch an actual X-Men movie!

Conclusion

There are many more great X-Men films that I’m not even going to mention, but that’s why I’m focusing on the ones that have already been made. They’re the best choice for the best superhero films ever made. If you haven’t seen them yet, you’ve got enough time. These films are entertaining, intelligent, emotional… and the best ones of all time!
