He Has The Most Popular Symbol

When you see that massive red “S” on someone’s clothing, you’d know immediately that it is the Superman symbol. Almost everybody in the world can easily recognize that symbol since they know who it belongs to. This is all thanks to Jerry Siegel who created him, and despite so many changes, it is still iconic. There are a lot of interpretations of this particular logo but you would still easily recognize it anywhere. Almost everyone actually thinks that the “S” stands for Superman, but it is actually not just it.

In some Superman films, this symbol actually means hope, which absolutely makes sense. The pentagon surrounding the letter was introduced in the ‘40s, replacing the triangular one. The Man of Steel himself is actually a symbol of truth and justice all over the world for fighting against bad guys.

He Is The Most Influential

His logo is not the only thing that is popular about him, it is his entire character. Almost everyone knows that when you try to wear a cape and tie it around your neck, you will lift one of your arms, then fly. That is something that Superman has always been known for and he will always be the one who represents that. He is practically what the word ‘superhero’ describes, and other superheroes were created based on him.

His Humanity Is Outstanding

Despite not being from Earth originally, his humanity is actually way better than mankind itself. This is basically why he can be so relatable in so many ways, especially as Clark Kent. He may be an alien who is way more powerful than any human, but his strong moral code is outstanding.

His sense of justice is based on all the lessons he learned from being brought up as a human. A lot of people think that his only weakness is a Kryptonite which is a  mineral from his home planet. What this actually symbolizes is how his painful past can actually harm him.

He Is Born Super

Unlike other superheroes, Superman does not need any gadgets or being inserted by some form of a powerful serum. He does not need any form of weapon to fight anyone since he literally is just born with superpowers. The Man of Steel has always been just who he is and that is what makes him an icon.
